Online mastering for producers and beat makers

Producers finish a lot of music. A beat that sounds right in your DAW can still sound quiet, dull or uneven next to a commercial track once it lands on a beat store, a YouTube channel or an artist’s laptop. Mastering is the last pass that brings it level with the records it will be compared to, and Loopin lets you do it online in about a minute, free to preview, with no sign-up.

Master a beat before you sell or send it

Export a stereo mixdown with a few dB of headroom and the master bus left clean, drop it in, and pick the feel that fits: Punchy for drums-forward trap and drill, Warm for boom bap and soul samples, Wide for melodic and ambient beats, Club for tracks that will be played loud. Use the loudness-matched A/B to check the master against your original before you commit to the download.

What to upload to a beat store, and what to send an artist

A mastered WAV is the right preview and sales file for most stores. If an artist will record vocals on top, send the version with more headroom, or the unmastered mix, and master after the vocals go on. Our guides on how to master a beat, preparing your mix for mastering and WAV vs MP3 for mastering go into the detail.

Check the low end before you trust the result

808s and sub bass are where beats fall apart on small speakers. Keep the bass centred, listen on earbuds and a phone as well as your monitors, and compare against a reference track in the same genre. If the master sounds worse than the original at the same volume, the fix is in the mix, not the master.

Free to master, Unlimited when you master every week

Mastering, previews and the loudness-matched A/B are free and unlimited. Downloads on the free tier are capped at one per rolling 24 hours with no account, and two with a free account. If you master beats every day, Loopin Mastering Unlimited removes the daily cap. Prices differ by country, so the plan picker shows the price in your own currency before you decide.

After you subscribe you come straight back to this page, signed in and ready to master. See full plan details or the LUFS guide for streaming loudness.

What it does not do

Loopin takes a stereo mixdown, one track at a time. It does not accept stems and has no batch or album mode, and it cannot repair a mix problem. For a record that needs human judgement, hand it to a mastering engineer.

Mastering for producers, answered

Can I master my beats for free?

Yes. Mastering, previews and the loudness-matched A/B are free and unlimited, with no sign-up. Free downloads are capped at one per rolling 24 hours without an account and two with a free account.

What file should I upload?

A stereo mixdown of the finished beat or track as MP3 or WAV. Leave a few dB of headroom and keep the master bus free of heavy limiting for the best result.

Should I master a beat before selling it?

A mastered WAV makes a stronger preview and sales file for most stores. If an artist will record on it, offer a version with more headroom and master after the vocals are on.

What does the Unlimited plan add?

It removes the daily download cap, so you can master and download as much as you need. Prices vary by country; the plan picker shows yours in your own currency.

Where do I land after I subscribe?

Back on this page, signed in, so you can carry on mastering straight away.

Can it fix a bad mix?

No. Mastering polishes a finished mix; it will not repair a muddy low end or a harsh vocal. Fix those in the mix, then master.

Does it work for stems?

No. Loopin takes a stereo mixdown, one track at a time. There is no stem or batch mode.
